The Important thing to Remember:
It is axiomatic on the web: The money is in the List.
Here is your strategy:
Promote free products and services in the List Builder programs listed above. How much more attention would an email get if it is offering a FREE service that every marketer needs!
Post classified ads. There are many good free classified ad sites and a few paid sites that are recommended. The Classified Club is a favorite among many Veretekk users because of its responsiveness. There is a very reasonable annual fee for belonging to the Classified Club. Daisy chained ads are very effective in helping the spiders to index your "back links" links from the outside back to your site. These back links are used to help determine the relative importance of your page/site.
Speaking of daisy chains, you can include links to forum posts, blog posts, external classified ads, articles that are posted on the web, web pages and just about anything else you can think of in your daisy chain. To daisy chain, make sure that each ad/post/article contains a link to 1) the site you are advertising AND 2) the last ad/post/article you created in the chain. At the end of your daisy chain (after the last ad) put a web page. Then write a Press Release. Link your Press Release to 1) the site you are advertising AND 2) your web page. You will usually need to pay some amount to include HTML in your Press Release and have it published to directories. The extra exposure and quick response of the search engines is more than worth the price of this service.
Promote them in Forums. You can post on the Techkat Forum. There you will find a list of other forums that accept advertising. Go post on those as well. If you search Google you will find quite a list of forums you can post on. Some will allow advertising and many will not. But most forums (the Veretekk forum EXCEPTED) will allow you to include a link in your "sig line" or signature.
Be sure to read the rules of each forum (Usually posted at the top) to be sure what is acceptable practice, and please obey the rules! You can have your posts removed and yourself banned if you don't! Keep in mind that your purpose on the forums is to establish yourself as a leader, a professional and an expert. So ACT like one for heaven's sake!
Do you have a blog? Then promote your traffic portals there too! You can write an entire article about one portal or include a link to a portal in an article on some other topic.
And while we are on the subject of articles, there's a great way to promote your traffic portals and your Veretekk system! Once you have written an article, you can submit it to article directories that provide content to ezines and newsletters all over the Internet. Talk about VIRAL!
You do not want to include obvious "plugs" in your articles. Make them as generic and informative as possible so they will be useable by a wide variety of newsletter/ezine owners. But you absolutely SHOULD include a resource box at the bottom of the article. This should contain a couple of sentences about who you are, what your qualifications for writing on that topic are and a link to your site (traffic portal or affiliate site).
Publish your own newsletter! The Bully Pulpit is a perfect delivery vehicle for this. Make sure your newsletter contains good content, rather than just ad copy. You want to provide useful information to your readers so they will continue to read your newsletters. If you just send them ads and nothing useful, they will quickly stop reading.
A specialized type of article, the Press Release is appropriate to announce any newsworthy event that takes place in your business. Do you have a new product offering? Are you participating in a new joint venture or association? Have you launched a new service or web site? All of these events are opportunities to keep the Internet community updated on what is happening in your business and keep your company in the "public eye". Press Releases should be written in the third person with as little bias as you can manage - just the facts, ma'am. But you can include quotes from the President, CEO or Marketing Manager (yourself) that will "spice" things up a bit.
Keyword Optimize
No matter what you are writing, or where it is going to be published, keep in mind that on the Internet you are ALWAYS "feeding spiders". Make sure that you include appropriate keywords in all your articles and posts. Where possible, link from your keywords to your site.
This means you will most likely need to do a bit of pre-planning, or even write your article out in Notepad or Word. Decide ahead of time what keywords you want to optimize for. Make sure your Traffic Portal configuration panel is using the same keywords! Then include your keywords in your articles and posts.
A word of caution here: Don't overdo the keyword bit. The spiders have been trained to know what is the "natural occurrence" of keywords in natural speech and they are looking for a similar pattern in web page content, posts and articles. If you "pack" your writing with keywords, the spiders will know they are being "spammed" and they will not react well. You could even get your page or your site banned from the offended search engine.
Target
As you are writing your articles and posting your ads, you should definitely keep in mind your ultimate target audience. What are you REALLY promoting? The Veretekk system is just a tool, a means to an end. You need to keep in mind the REASON you want to generate these Premium Leads. Again, if you are building a network marketing business, ultimately you want prospects who are going to be interested in your primary business.
So if you are building an office supply business, for example, you want to target business owners and people who maybe sell related, but not competing office supplies. You would not necessarily want to target pet owners. BUT if you are building a business selling pet products, then you really want those pet owners, but you might not care about the business supply people. See what I mean?
The point is, as you are searching for forums and ad sites to post on, try using your primary business' keyword in your search. How much more targeted is a search for "free pet forum" than just "free forum". Then also target your posts, ads and articles to topics that would be useful and interesting to those people. Now you are building your reputation amongst people to whom it will really matter!
And when those Premium Leads come rolling in, they will be people who share your passion and are ready to hear about your opportunity!
